Latin American insurance and maritime hulls summit

The International Clube of Transport Insurance (CIST), with the Latin American Maritime Underwriters Association (ALSUM), are presenting the “3rd Latin American insurance and maritime hulls summit”, from 16 to 19 November 2015, at the Tivoli Mofarrej hotel, in São Paulo, Brazil.

According to Aparecido Mendes Rocha, CIST vice-president, the event is the largest and most important in the sector, and aims to promote the sharing of experiences between professionals of several countries.

The event has 26 sponsors, attendants from 12 different countries (Brazil, Germany, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Spain, United States, Holland, United Kingdom, Mexico, Panama, Peru, Portugal and Venezuela), and the presence of the main insurers and reinsurers for marine, Lloyd’s, and brokers from Brazil and abroad, Sincor SP, Sindseg SP, Fenseg, APTS and ABGR, risk and claims management companies, logistic operators, lawyers, and other professionals involved in the cargo and hulls’ insurance market.

CIST and Alsum are non-profit organizations that aim to train professionals from the cargo and hulls’ insurance industry.
